24 Weeks
So I've got some big news! But it's not about me...Luke and Sara are having a baby!!!! Yay! I'm so happy for them. They are due on October 30th! Our kids will only be about 4 months apart! (See their first picture...)
Also big news: Leah is coming to School at OC!!! Yay! I'm very excited to have her here. We haven't lived in the same town since I was in High School! Plus I'll have a baby sitter!
Enough about them...now back to me! Just kidding. I'm still feeling great these days. Preston and I had a great weekend. We took Lucy to Lake Hefner and went for a walk on the walking trails. Lucy likes to meet and greet all the other dogs we see. Preston and I have become baby watchers. We notice all the other parents with their kids and strollers. We said that later this summer we'll have to go out there again with our baby...if it's not too hot. Have you ever noticed that parents have soooo much gear with them?...especially if they are using their stroller. It's like they have to pack up like they are moving just to go anywhere. Can't wait for that.
These days there is never a day that goes by that I don't get in bed at night and Chase is kicking me. He kicks many times throughout the day but always at night when I'm going to bed. It's really not so bad though. I'll lie on my back and Preston and I will just watch in wonder as my belly jumps around. It's very fascinating!
So I go to the doctor this week. Mom is coming with me which will be really fun. We'll get to listen to the heart beat and such. I'm sure we'll also do some shopping while she is here! Then we are going to see my sister in Little Rock. It should be a fun week!
According to BabyCenter.com my uterus is the size of a soccer ball. I just don't see how it's possible! I mean...a soccer ball is pretty stinkin' big! And there are other organs in there!
