Today's Doctor Appointment

So we went to the doctor today. I have to admit that the glucose testing wasn't nearly as bad as I had imagined it. I wasn't suppose to eat anything sweet for 2 hours before the appointment which wasn't too hard since it was at 3:00. When I got there I had to drink the super sweet drink that they use to test your blood sugar. It wasn't nearly as much as I thought it would be and it didn't taste nearly as bad as I thought it would. Don't get me wrong...it wasn't good...just not terrible. I chose the lemon/lime flavor over orange and had it all down in about 1 minute. Then I began the one hour wait.

During that time Preston and I met with the doctor which was pretty much the same as usual. We heard the heart beat and she measured my belly which was all right on track for 27 weeks. I have now gained a total of 15 pounds.

After meeting with her we sat in the waiting room for another 25 minutes or so until it was time to have blood drawn for the testing. I hate having that done. Not really because it hurts but more because I'm a big fat baby. Preston held my hand though and it was over before I knew it.
