34 Weeks

Preston and I had a great Memorial Day weekend in Emory. We went to my sister, Leah's, graduation on Friday and then just hung out the rest of the weekend. Preston and dad helped Amy (my other sister) move. She also recently graduated and got a new job. Congrats to both of them! We went to a local theater to hear blue grass music, went to the movies, went to church at the Point Church of Christ's new building, etc. It was fun. Wendi (Preston's sister) and her fiance' Wade called us both over the weekend and asked us to be in their wedding. We are both very honored and super excited that we both get to share in their special day!

Preston and I realized while we were there that we would have a baby next time we visited. Kind of weird. And when we left and said our good byes I realized that the next time I see my dad or Amy at all we would be parents. Crazy! Preston and I are done traveling until Chase is here. It's probably not a good idea any more just in case he decides to come early. I also read that you should pack your bags when you have 6 weeks left incase of an early delivery. Maybe I'll at least get that started soon...it's 6 weeks from yesterday you know!

Mom and Leah and maybe my grandmother are coming this weekend for my baby shower. Preston's whole family is coming too. It will be really fun.

I've had some REALLY bad nights sleep. I feel great during the day but I almost dread the night time. Last night was actually OK compared to the previous week. Hopefully tonight will be the same. Other than that everything has been really great and normal. I'm feeling really huge but, take a look at this picture...that's because I am!

A few people have asked me if I'm still working out. Yes I am. I still go to step, circuit, and kick boxing. I have modified my workout gradually throughout my pregnancy. I use the lowest step possible now and sometimes just kick at the air in kick boxing instead of kicking the actual bag. I just do my own thing while the rest of the class does something that is particularly bouncy like jump rope or jumping jacks. I also skipped out on one of my classes last week and went to the pool at the gym instead. That was really nice and I may do that more over the next 6 weeks. Plus Preston will go to the pool with me...although last week I had to prove to him that I would not, in fact, sink straight to the bottom. I reminded him that "My belly is not made of lead you know!"
