Doctor Appointment

The Doctor's appointment went well. We heard the heartbeat which was 150 bpm. and then talked a little about what I can expect at delivery, etc. She wanted to know if I was planning on having an epidural. I said yes and then asked her if she was going to try and talk me out of it. She said "heck no...there's no prize for the woman who labors through without it." Good enough for me! Oh and I've gained 19 pounds so far. I'm not staying on the 1 pound a week thing very well....but I guess I started a little behind since there was a month that I didn't gain any...or at least that's what I'll keep telling myself. :)
