Full Term Today!
Well...here I sit at 37 weeks. Anxiously awaiting the big day. I wish I didn't know that the pre-labor process has already begun. The doctor said it could be any day...or still in a few more weeks.
With that knowledge I feel like a time bomb about to go off...with every little ache or pain or Braxton Hicks contraction I'm on alert. But I'm sure I'm not the first woman to feel that way. I'm just soooo ready. The sleeping has gotten bad again, I'm much more tired during the day, and he's dropped a little so walking and stuff aren't as easy as it used to be....not to mention it makes me have to use the restroom like every second! Wow...I just did a lot of complaining in the last few sentences! haha :) The good thing is though, that I don't feel sick or anything. I feel pretty good pretty much all the time that I'm not trying to sleep. I even have plans to go to the gym and swim tonight (I may be about done with my classes...we'll see how I feel tomorrow).
Lucy (our dog) has been more "needy" lately. It's kind of weird...like she "knows." She follows me around more than usual and wants me to hold her all the time. I'm really hoping that this transition doesn't leave her hating me. I've heard that you should ignore your dog for a few weeks before the baby comes home and then give them attention and treats with the baby is around. The dog will then associate the baby with good things. Ignoring her will just KILL me! I should start that soon though...I'm going to at least give it a try.
Preston and I had a great weekend. We had our Sunday school class over on Friday night and 30+ people showed up! Wow! It was fun. Saturday we just hung out together after Preston's golf tourn. that morning.
Oh, and we bought Chase's going home outfit! Very cute! Can't wait to see him in it....hopefully sooner than later!
